Solcery Forge
Own NFT of any protocol, that is supported by the Forge (eventually all major NFT protocols on Solana).
Bring it to the Forge.
Pay to initiate the Forging process.
Forge stakes your NFT and mints you a fNFT (Forged NFT), which is a wrapper around your NFT. It inherits all the metadata, visuals and traits of the original and extends it with the Forge interface, making it compatible with any game in the Solcery ecosystem.
From now on, your fNFT might be used  as a game asset in any Solcery game. Some games will choose to let you set it as an avatar, others will give you a unique card or a playable character, which will have your original NFT's art and will gain properties and abilities, derived from its traits.
fNFTs are Metaplex compatible, which means they can be traded on all marketplaces, just like your original NFT, staked in the Forge. Moreover, their value is now derived not only from the traits of the original protocol, but from the various gameplay mechanics each Solcery game chooses to give them.
At any point in time, if you see a reason to do so, you can go back to the Forge and unstake your fNFT to get the original NFT back.
